Delaware North UK is seeking a casual Tour Guide to join our team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. You will lead guests, sharing the stadium’s stories and history, including West Ham United FC and major events, creating memorable experiences.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with casual shifts, evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow your skills while providing outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• No degree required
• DBS check available or willing to undergo DBS check
• Interest in sports and entertainment events
• Strong communication, public speaking, people skills, time management and organisation

The opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Tour Guide to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. As a Tour Guide, you will be leading guests around the venue, bringing the stories, achievements, and atmosphere to life. You will be sharing the history of stadium, including West Ham United F.C. and events like London 2012 Olympics and major concerts, guiding guests through an experience they will never forget. Pay

The expected pay for this role is £27.10 / hour

What will you do?

• Communicate confidently and clearly to large groups of guests throughout the tour experiences
• Engage guests in the exciting history of West Ham United Football Club, stadium events, such as concerts, Major League Baseball London Series, Monster Trucks, UK Athletics, and the London 2012 Olympics
• Execute tasks effectively and in a timely manor
• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More about you

• No degree or experience required
• DBS approved, or willing to partake in a DBS check
• Interests in sports and entertainment events
• Strong skills in communication, public speaking, people orientation, time management, and organisation

Physical requirements

• Ability to move around the venue, due to the nature of the role
• Availability to have a flexible schedule, attending shifts between Monday and Sunday
