Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking an experienced Theatres Ward Nurse to join their friendly team in Torbay to support a large NHS Trust with reducing patient waiting lists. The role offers predominantly weekend sessions with an excellent day rate paid via PAYE and ongoing sessions over long duration.

The position requires current UK registration and live within 50 miles of Torbay, with shifts 8:00–18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, offered for an initial 3 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year NHS theatres ward experience.
• Live within 50 miles of Torbay.

Responsibilities

• Provide theatres ward nursing care within an NHS trust.
• Support patients on referral waiting lists and assist with throughput.
• Work weekend sessions (Saturday and Sunday) from 08:00–18:00 for up to 10 hours per shift.
