Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Tiverton is seeking a Registered Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner to join the Day Case Unit. You will plan and manage patient care programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team, with flexibility to support other Day Surgery Units as required.

This fixed-term role offers a 28.5-hour week (three 8-6 shifts) with no unsociable hours, supporting a healthy work-life balance and a commitment to high quality care.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm, motivation andexcellent communication skills.
• Commitment to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to plan and manage care programmes for patients in the Day Surgery Unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients as part of the Day Surgery Unit team.
• Provide support to other Day Surgery Units as required.
• Contribute to delivering high quality care in a professional environment.
