Job summary

Moon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Topographical Surveyor to join their growing survey team across the UK. You will conduct surveys from initial site observations through to data processing and CAD production, collaborating with Surveying Managers and Project Managers.

You will travel to various sites, carry out topographical and measured building surveys, use Total Station and GNSS/GPS equipment, and contribute to QA/QC and project deliverables while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Topographical Surveyor.
• Strong practical experience in topographical surveys and data collection.
• Confident with Total Station and GNSS/GPS equipment.
• Experience with processing data and producing CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking topographical and measured building surveys.
• Carrying out site observations, measurements and data collection.
• Processing and checking survey data.
• Producing 2D CAD drawings from survey data.
• Assisting with survey reports and deliverables.
• Maintaining and managing survey equipment; QA/QC across work.
• Mentoring less experienced team members and contributing to department growth.
