Job summary

Moon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Topographical Surveyor to join our field team in Stevenage, with opportunities in other locations.

You will conduct topographical and measured building surveys, collect field data, and produce accurate CAD drawings, while ensuring QA/QC and mentoring junior colleagues in a varied project environment.

Travel across sites and outdoor work in all weather is required, with a full UK driving licence and a proactive, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Topographical Surveyor.
• Experience with topographical surveys and field data collection.
• Ability to produce CAD drawings from survey data.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Undertake topographical and measured building surveys.
• Perform site observations and data collection.
• Use Total Station and GNSS surveying equipment.
• Produce 2D CAD drawings from survey data.
• Check and process survey data.
• Assist with survey reports and deliverables.
• Maintain and manage survey equipment.
• QA/QC across survey work.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
• Contribute to department development.
