Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Jig & Fixtures Toolroom Technician in Whittlesey. You will manufacture, repair and modify jigs and fixtures, reading engineering drawings and operating manual tooling machines to support production and quality teams.

The role offers a dayshift, overtime, pension, training and long-term security in a modern manufacturing environment with a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in toolroom or engineering workshop.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience operating manual machining equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair, maintain and modify jigs, fixtures, gauges and production tooling.
• Produce tooling solutions from drawings and specifications.
• Operate mills, lathes, drills, grinders and saws.
• Support production by resolving tooling issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain tooling records and ensure clean, safe work areas.
