Job summary

Hyde Group is recruiting for a Toolmaker/Fitter at our manufacturing facility in Atherton, near Manchester. You will manufacture and assemble Jigs and fixtures for Aerospace and Nuclear industries, with occasional offsite work in the UK and overseas.

The role requires familiarity with Toolroom machinery and a good understanding of engineering drawings, plus assembly/fitting skills and attention to detail. We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave, and career development opportunities.

About the Opportunity

Britannia Dynamics is currently recruiting a Toolmaker/Fitter based at one of our bespoke Engineering facilities in Atherton Manchester. As a Toolmaker/Fitter, you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of Jigs & Fixtures for the Aerospace & Nuclear Industry.

Main Duties

• Manufacture and assembly of Jigs and fixtures.
• Occasional offsite work both in the UK and Overseas.

Essential Skills

• Familiar with Toolroom Machinery and a good understanding of Engineering Drawings.

Desired Skills

• Assembly/Fitting skills with good attention to detail.

Desired Experience

• Aerospace experience beneficial but not essential.
