Job summary

ARM in London is seeking a skilled Toolmaker/Inspection Engineer to join its Calibration Department at Lillie Bridge. You will calibrate, inspect and test tools and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance, supporting internal teams and external customers.

The role requires experience in tool calibration or engineering measurement, and a background in toolmaking, machining, precision engineering or inspection, with the ability to work to tight tolerances and interpret technical

Toolmaker/Inspection Engineer

Location: Lillie Bridge, London
Pay Rate: 45.53 per hour (Umbrella rate, Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months rolling
Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Toolmaker/Inspection Engineer to join an expanding Calibration Department within Asset Performance Delivery (APD).

You will be responsible for inspecting, testing and calibrating tools and equipment to ensure accuracy, compliance and adherence to required engineering standards. The role will support both internal operational teams and external commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate, inspect and test tools and measuring equipment.
• Verify measurements against required specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation.
• Support internal teams with calibration requirements.
• Provide calibration services to external customers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in tool calibration or engineering measurement.

• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or maintenance environment.

Desirable

• Calibration or metrology qualifications.
