Job summary

Rose 360 are recruiting for a Toolmaker in the Alfreton area. This permanent full-time role involves setting and operating a range of tool room machines, including grinders, millers, lathes and spark eroders, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have experience on manual machines, be familiar with tool room operations and possess a can-do attitude. Overtime at 1.5x rate is available and there is a permanent position on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience working on manual machines.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD is desirable.
• Experience working within a tool room environment.
• Must have a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate tool room machines such as grinders, millers, lathes and spark eroders.
• Carry out maintenance, repair and service work on products from the shop floor.
• Work on manual machinery and operate a CNC milling machine.

We are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company in the Alfreton area who are looking for a toolmaker to join their team on a permanent full time basis.

This role if a perfect fit for an individual with experience working on a variety of tool room machinery.

Your day to day will include:

• Setting and operating a variety of tool room machines such as grinders, millers, lathes and spark eroders.
• Carrying out maintaince , repair and service work on products from the shop floor
• Working on manual machinery
• Operation of a CNC milling machine

We believe you would be a great fit if you have the below skills:

• Experience working on manual machines
• Previous experience with autoCAD
• Experience working within a Tool room environment
• A can-do attitude
