• Experience in machining high-value components and reading engineering drawings.

• Using conventional machines for Milling, Turning, and Grinding.

Pay Rate: up to £19.46ph (Can earn up to £50k with overtime)

We are currently recruiting for a Toolmaker for our client in Clitheroe. They are a family run business that produce tooling exclusively within the aerospace sector. They require someone to join their team.

What’s the job?

• Hurco Winmax desirable, other controls considered.
• MasterCAM desirable, other CAD/CAM acceptable.
• Machining high value small batch components, mainly OneOFF.
• Conventional Milling, Turning, Grinding.
• Deburring
• Experience working to close tolerance.
• Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings
• Use of conventional machines.

Who can do this?

• Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification.
• Provide a great level of attention to details and focus on the given task
• Make a positive contribution to maintaining the workplace neat, tidy, healthy and safe
• Be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions and keep commitments
