Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Montrose is seeking an experienced Tool Technician to repair and maintain conventional and down-hole tools. You will assemble and disassemble down-hole equipment and ensure accurate maintenance records while working under general supervision.

The role requires basic math, basic reading/writing skills, and effective communication with team members. A high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of tool technician experience are typical requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and 6-12 months experience as a Tool Technician I or equivalent training.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, repairs and performs maintenance on conventional tools, down-hole tools and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools.
  • Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools.
  • Communicates effectively with others as necessary.
  • Performs maintenance, inspects surface equipment, and performs repairs.
  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with safety and environmental procedures.
