GAP Group is seeking a Tool Mechanic in the Chorley area to service and maintain a wide range of equipment within our fleet. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and maintain accurate service records to ensure safety and uptime for our customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical role; training provided for plant hire outsiders.
• Experience with petrol and electrical tools would be highly beneficial.
• A keen eye for detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Customer-focused mindset and collaborative team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of small tool equipment within the GAP fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Accurately updating service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Supporting the depot team to ensure equipment availability and customer satisfaction.
