Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is seeking an experienced Tool Hire Supervisor for our Barnstaple branch. You will lead a small team, leverage product knowledge, and focus on delivering strong customer service while hitting sales targets.

This role sits at the heart of our Tool Hire range and requires a proactive relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the branch team to support the wider business and help grow this specialist brand through

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is a leading independent builders’ merchant based across the South West of England. Our Tool Hire branches are located within our merchant branches, supplying tools, small plant and lifting equipment for hire and helping to provide a one-stop shop for all building requirements. With over 250 years’ experience in the industry, we know our success is built on our people.

We are now looking for an experienced Tool Hire Supervisor to join the team at our branch in Barnstaple! Your product knowledge combined with your experience of supervising a small team will help make you a great fit for us. More importantly, you will be a great relationship builder who loves selling and thrives on achieving targets.

The Tool Hire business is part of a wider builders’ merchant business and in addition to focussing on our Tool Hire products you will also help to support the wider branch business and working closely with the branch team.

You will have already worked within the Tool Hire industry, probably in a supervisory capacity and have previous knowledge of the types of products and services that we supply. Your understanding and experience of our customer base will help ensure you are committed to providing great customer service as you help us to develop and grow this specialist brand.
