Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd. in Barnstaple is seeking a Deputy Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager, lead from the front and drive performance across the branch. You will work across all departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering strong results for customers and the business.

We’re now looking for a Deputy Branch Manager to join our team in Barnstaple, someone who can support the Branch Manager, lead from the frontand help drive performance across the branch.

As Deputy Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch. Working across all departments, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly while delivering great results for both customers and the business.

You’ll support the Branch Manager in leading the team, maintaining a safe environmentand driving sales and service standards. When needed, you’ll step up and take full responsibility for the branch, making sure everything continues to operate efficiently. Through supporting the day-to-day management of the branch, helping to deliver sales, profit and service targets, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the team to provide consistently excellent customer service
• Promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring compliance across the branch
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally
• Supporting operational processes, stock controland transport coordination to keep everything running smoothly
