Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting 2 Temporary to Permanent Tool Hire Operatives for a well-established company specialising in the hire and maintenance of power tools and equipment.

This role offers full training, a supportive environment, and long-term career prospects, with shifts from 6:00am to 2:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:00pm and opportunity to develop technical skills in PAT testing and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience would be advantageous.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic electrical aptitude and domestic plug wiring ability.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with their orders and enquiries
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication at all times
• Cleaning and preparing hire equipment ready for customer use
• Rewiring and PAT testing power tools and equipment
• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high operational and safety standard
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day depot activities

Temporary to Permanent Opportunities - Tool Hire Operative

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting 2 Temporary to Permanent Operatives for a well-established and growing company specialising in the hire and maintenance of power tools and equipment.

Available Shifts

• 6:00am - 2:00pm — Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm — Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
