Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is assisting a well-established company in the hire and maintenance of power tools to recruit Tool Hire Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. The role includes hands-on equipment preparation, rewiring, PAT testing, and providing excellent customer service.

Training will be provided and there are opportunities for long-term career development within a supportive team and depot environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience would be advantageous.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic electrical aptitude.
• Ability to wire a domestic plug is essential.
• Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn new skills.
• A team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with their orders and enquiries.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication at all times.
• Cleaning and preparing hire equipment ready for customer use.
• Rewiring and PAT testing power tools and equipment.
• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high operational and safety standard.
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day depot activities.

Temporary to Permanent Opportunities - Tool Hire Operative

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting 2 Temporary to Permanent Operatives for a well-established and growing company specialising in the hire and maintenance of power tools and equipment.

Available Shifts

6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with their orders and enquiries
