Job description

Are you based in the Chesterfield area? Do you have an interest in tools, plant, and machinery?

Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Assistant who is as passionate about great service as we are.

We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

Hours – 7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

*Part Time / Flexible working applicants welcomed

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop.
  2. Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions to deliver the best experience possible.
  3. Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey.
  4. Deliver tools and explain how to use them.
  5. Work according to Health & Safety regulations.
