Job description

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Operating lane equipment and managing toll booths smoothly and professionally

  • Classifying vehicles and processing toll payments per the schedule

  • Recording and handling cash accurately preparing deposits and ensuring safe handovers

  • Communicating clearly and courteously with drivers resolving enquiries on the spot or escalating where needed

  • Following safety and operational procedures keeping yourself and others safe

  • Liaising with the Bridge Control Room and following instructions promptly

  • Reporting incidents or equipment faults when necessary

  • Maintaining supplies and equipment in your booth

  • Writing clear reports and interpreting information effectively

  • Upholding high standards of appearance and professionalism at all times


Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

Essential:

  • The right to work in the UK

  • A 5-year checkable employment history (including study unemployment or self-employment)

  • Minimum of secondary school education

  • Strong IT and communication skills

  • A natural ability to deliver top-notch customer service with at least 2 years experience in a customer-facing role

  • A commitment to our core values of Integrity Vigilance and Helpfulness

Desirable:

  • Experience in a customer service or public-facing role

  • Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate

  • Previous work in the service sector
