Job summary

UCM Education Barnet is seeking a dedicated Toddler Room Educator / Room Leader for a well-established nursery. You will plan activities, safeguard children and build strong relationships with families to support development.

The permanent, Monday–Friday role runs 7:30am–4:00pm with a competitive £14.50/hour rate. Level 3 EYFS qualification is desirable, with room for progression to Room Leader for strong candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with Toddlers or Early Years settings.
• Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Room Leader level for capable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for Toddlers in the Toddler Room.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for learning through play.
• Support children's development, learning and wellbeing.
• Act as a key person and build positive relationships with families.
• Complete observations and assessments to track progress.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and inclusive practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive team.
