Job summary

You will manage daily operations, plan activities, and foster language, independence and curiosity, while maintaining safeguarding and a safe, stimulating environment. Competitive salary and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above required.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and child development understanding.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day-to-day running of the toddler room.
• Lead and support practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Create experiences that encourage language, independence, movement and curiosity.
• Plan around children's individual interests and next steps.
• Utilise open-plan rooms and outdoor facilities.
• Encourage exploration, experimentation and learning through play.
• Support emotional development and growing confidence.
• Maintain a stimulating, organised room environment.
• Build relationships with parents and carers.
• Provide positive leadership and guidance to staff.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards.
