Room Leader – Toddler Room

We are looking for a dedicated Room Leader to work in the toddler room at this lovely nursery in Leytonstone!

As a Room Leader, you will be a permanent member of staff and working as part of a team who are committed and dedicated to early years education. The nursery has developed a unique approach to early years care, with learning programmes built around each child's specific interests and development stages.

This nursery provides a supportive, fun and creative work environment, and there are many opportunities for career progression and further training, as well as other great benefits!

Responsibilities

• Planning engaging activities and lessons alongside the team within the toddler room.
• Carrying out observations and assessments to track children's development.
• Creating strong relationships with parents/carers.
• Working in partnership with the Nursery Manager and leading a small team to deliver the highest standards of early years care and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
• Previous experience working in a nursery setting.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding.
