Job summary

Tove Learning Trust (TLT) is seeking an Estates Strategy Manager to support the leadership team in developing the Trust's estates strategy across multiple sites. The role requires oversight of investment strategies, statutory compliance and multi-million pound budgets, with the flexibility to adapt to estates changes across Northamptonshire and the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification in building services, surveying, property management or health & safety,

Qualifications

• have a recognisable qualification in a building services trade, surveying, property management, health & safety or other directly relevant experience
• have experience in a multi-site environment and a proven track record of managing large property portfolios
• Demonstrate strong financial experience managing large budgets, centralising procurement and driving commercial value
• be able to demonstrate strong IT skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. and a mastery of bespoke software relating to the job role
• have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trust-wide investment strategies for estates and capital projects across multiple sites.
• Ensure statutory compliance and robust risk management across the Trust’s estate portfolio.
• Manage multi-million pound budgets with centralised procurement and value-driven sourcing.
• Collaborate with School Business Managers and Site teams to optimise operations and estate planning.
• Adapt the role to evolving needs of the estate, portfolio mix, and building stock.

Job description

Tove Learning Trust (TLT) is a well-established Multi Academy Trust with sixteen schools across Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire and the West Midlands. We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and visionary Estates Strategy Manager tosupport the wider TLT leadership team with the development of our Estates strategy across the trust.

TLT has a small centralstructure and a large amount of autonomy granted to its constituent schools. Each school has its own School Business Managerand Site team to manage daily operations and planning. The post holder will work closely with these teams and the trustExecutive team to ensure compliance and risk management across the Trust.

In this pivotal role you will have accountability for trust wide investment strategies, statutory compliance and multi millionpound budget management. The exact job role will vary from time to time due to the differing needs of the trust and thecomposition of the estate which varies from a previous 1920’s grammar school to modern day construction.
