A career with Psychiatry UK allows you to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain valuable life experience—all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote full-time role. As part of a leading online mental health service, you'll collaborate with innovative, forward-thinking professionals in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference.

The Titration Team - Team Lead plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of Psychiatry UK’s Titration services. The post holder will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of service standards. This includes managing and supervising clinical staff, contributing to the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and clinical governance frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, offering clinical guidance and safeguarding support while promoting best practice, continuous professional development, and seamless patient care.

This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.

As our Titration Team - Team Lead, you will:

  • Lead and supervise clinical staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practice across the titration team.
  • Support the development, implementation, and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive service safety and effectiveness.
  • Oversee compliance with Caldicott principles, ensuring patient data is managed legally, ethically, and confidentially.
  • Review applications and participate in interviews for new Titration Nurse candidates.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Ensure team compliance with all clinical regulations, governance frameworks, and continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
  • Monitor and address safeguarding concerns in collaboration with the Safeguarding Lead, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Offer timely, evidence-based clinical advice to both patients and team members in line with P-UK policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, including psychiatrists, registered clinicians, and external care providers, to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records for all patient interactions.
  • Uphold and promote the values and vision of Psychiatry UK, acting with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Plan, prioritise, and manage personal workload effectively, adapting to changing demands and participating in relevant supervision, training, and development activities.

To succeed as our Titration Team - Team Lead, you will be

A compassionate, resilient, and highly organised Allied Health Professional (AHP) with current, valid registration and independent prescribing qualification. You will bring a strong understanding of ADHD and a genuine commitment to empowering and supporting patients through best clinical practice. Comfortable working autonomously, you will demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

The role requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and bring meticulous attention to detail. A confident and proactive communicator, you can balance accuracy with initiative, and consistently uphold professional standards while fostering a collaborative, patient-centred approach.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Current registration as an Allied Health Professional with valid prescribing qualifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of prescribing regulations and clinical best practice.
  • Experience working with individuals with ADHD in a clinical setting.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions while following clinical guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with sound clinical judgement.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management abilities, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong administrative capabilities with proven experience in managing documentation and workflow.
  • Willingness to engage in regular clinical and professional supervision to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information, and act with integrity at all times.
