Responsibilities

  • Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials under the supervising teacher to support objectives.
  • Administers classroom assignments, tests, homework, and makeup work to support teachers.
  • Assists students, individually or in small groups, with reading, writing, English lessons, spelling and computer learning programs to reinforce concepts.
  • Communicates with teachers and/or parents to evaluate progress and implement objectives.
  • Implements instructional programs and lesson plans under supervision to present learning concepts.
