Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters level in clinical speciality or equivalent
• Registered Nurse with tissue viability experience
• Post-registration wound management/leg ulcer qualification
• Independent non-medical prescriber or willingness to undertake
• Teaching qualification desirable
• Mentorship in practice or equivalent
• Evidence-based practice knowledge and multi-agency working

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment and management of complex wounds in the community
• Autonomous practitioner within community settings
• Collaborate with Outer North West Division Tissue Viability Team and MDT
• Contribute to service improvement and development initiatives
• Participate in supervision, mentorship, and training programs
• Deliver patient-centred high-quality care and outcomes
