Job summary

Driver Hire Basingstoke and Newbury are seeking Class 2 tipper drivers to support local clients across Basingstoke, Newbury, Thatcham, Hook and Hungerford. Work varies by client and can include construction and demolition.

Shifts are generally Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work, and days can be flexible to suit you. The role involves professional duties, daily vehicle checks, reliable and friendly service, and exceptional customer interaction as the face of Driver Hire.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License, with at least 1 years experience
• Current Drivers Card and Drivers Qualification Card
• Must be over the age of 21, with at least 1 years driving experience
• A current DBS check is desirable.
• Verifiable References

Tipper Driver Class 2

Driver Hire are the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company, with offices throughout the UK. We provide driving and logistics staff to both local and national clients across a variety of sectors, offering flexible and reliable staffing solutions.

Driver Hire Basingstoke and Newbury are looking to recruit Class 2 Tipper driver Drivers to help support the work that we are doing to support our local clients with their temporary staffing needs. The clients we support are based through Basingstoke, Newbury, Thatcham, Hook and Hungerford.

The work varies from client to client, and you could be driving for a range of different clients within construction and demolition.

The days can be flexible to you, working as many or as few days as you wish. Generally the work is between Monday and Friday, but there may be occasional weekend working as well.

HOURS, PAY & BENEFITS

• £17.87 - £30.05 per hour - Mondays to Fridays, with enhanced rates for weekend work.


• Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day (full day), or 4 hours (half day).


• Flexible working days to suit you.


• Paid weekly in arrears.
