Job description

Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a candidate to coordinate the implementation and ongoing management of the Time & Attendance system across the plant, ensuring high-quality workforce data, robust reporting, and operational visibility. You will work closely with Operations, Payroll, IT, HR, and Support Functions to ensure system configuration accurately reflects workforce requirements and business rules. A key part of the role will be monitoring data quality, resolving exceptions, managing workforce data integrity, and producing meaningful insights on attendance, absence, overtime, and labour utilisation to support operational decision-making. As the local system owner, you will act as the primary point of contact for Time & Attendance reporting, system performance, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How You'll Make an Impact
Time & Attendance System Implementation

Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of the Time & Attendance system, partnering with Operations, IT, Payroll, HR, and external vendors to deliver agreed project milestones and governance requirements. Support system configuration, testing, data validation, and go-live activities, ensuring workforce rules, shift patterns, schedules, and reporting requirements are accurately reflected within the system.

Workforce Data Management & Reporting

Own the integrity, quality, and reliability of Time & Attendance data, ensuring accurate capture of working time, absence, overtime, and labour information. Develop, maintain, and enhance operational reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics that provide insight into attendance trends, overtime utilisation, labour performance, and operational efficiency. Monitor data quality, investigate anomalies, resolve exceptions, and implement controls to ensure accurate and audit-ready records.

System Ownership & Operational Support

Act as the site's key user and subject matter expert for the Time & Attendance system, supporting managers and stakeholders with reporting, data queries, and system-related issues. Maintain system documentation, reporting standards, and operating procedures, ensuring consistent and effective use of the platform across the organisation.

Governance, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Ensure workforce data management processes meet compliance, governance, and audit requirements. Identify opportunities to improve reporting capability, automate manual processes, enhance data accuracy, and increase the value of workforce analytics to support operational decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen data quality, reporting effectiveness, and system performance post-implementation.

What You Bring
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience working with Time & Attendance systems, workforce management platforms, operational reporting, data management, or related business systems.
  • Experience supporting system implementations and roll out, data migrations, process improvements, or operational technology rollouts.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability with experience interpreting workforce, attendance, overtime, or operational performance data.
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools, including Excel and workforce management reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality controls, and information management best practices.
  • Experience working with large operational datasets in complex manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or unionised environments.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Interpersonal Qualities
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Takes ownership of data, reporting, and system-related activities from implementation through to ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Communicates complex data and insights clearly to both technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving and exception management.
  • Builds trusted relationships across Operations, Payroll, IT, and wider business functions through accuracy, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Maintains a continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to enhance system capability, reporting effectiveness, and operational insight.
