Job summary

Driver Hire Grimsby & Scunthorpe is recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a regular, full-time temp-to-perm opportunity with a food distribution business.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, with early starts Tue-Sat, 37.5 hours per week, and £15.00 per hour. The role emphasizes professionalism and customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• Valid CPC must be held.
• Digital Tachograph Card knowledge expected.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN).
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Class 2 multi-drop deliveries to regular commercial customers.
• Check goods and complete delivery paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Loading/unloading and some manual handling.
• Ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
