Job summary

Net Zero Careers Accelerator in Walthamstow is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join the construction team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing surfaces and installing tiles to walls and floors, ensuring a high-quality finish in a safe environment.

The successful candidate will have NVQ in tiling preferred and SSSTS preferred, with exclusive eligibility for residents of Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.

Qualifications

• NVQ in tiling preferred.
• SSSTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install wall and floor tiles to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces before tiling.
• Measure and mark areas accurately.
• Cut and fit tiles to the required specification.
• Apply adhesives, grout and other appropriate materials.
• Ensure tiles are level, correctly spaced and professionally finished.
• Repair and replace existing wall and floor tiles where required.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Safely use tiling tools and equipment.
• Follow drawings, specifications and instructions.
• Work alongside other trades where required.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures, RAMS and PPE requirements.

Wall and Floor Tiler to join a construction team working in Walthamstow.

This is a hands-on role involving the preparation and installation of tiles to walls and floors. The successful candidate will take pride in producing a high-quality finish and be able to work safely and efficiently within a construction environment.
