Job summary

Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd is recruiting experienced TIG Welders for permanent roles on the HPC project in Somerset. Successful candidates will undergo a BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification as part of the trade test and work on stainless steel TIG welds in multiple positions.

Roles include nights with a premium, long shift patterns, and accommodation allowance. Applicants should have time-served training, relevant NVQ/C&G qualifications, ACE/CCNSG cards, and at least 3 years of

• Time-served or apprentice trained in TIG welding
• Minimum 3 years experience in relevant industry
• Adequate site welding experience and safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel in all positions
• Carry out fillet and butt welds
• Weld sheet metal 0.7–4 mm thick and fit components correctly

TIG WELDERS £29.34 to 35.94 PER HOUR
Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Permanent Roles

Nights £35.94 + Overtime + Accommodation Allowance

With additional scope secured on the HPC project, we are now looking to recruit experienced TIG Welders to join one of the UK s largest infrastructure projects. All successful candidates will undertake a BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification as part of the trade test.

Welding Scope

• 141 (TIG) combination welding - stainless steel


• Fillet & Butt welds


• All positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)


• Fitting and welding sheet 0.7 to 4mm thick.

We re specifically looking for welders whose CV clearly demonstrates strong experience across these processes and positional work.

Pay & Benefits

• £35.94 per hour


• OT 1.4x Hours over 38 (Mon Fri) + first 4 hours Saturday


• OT 1.8x Remaining Saturday hours + all Sunday


• Nights Carry a 22.5% shift premium


• 10.5-hour shifts


• 10/4 rotation


• £355.67 per week accommodation allowance

Requirements

• Competency based Interview with subject matter expert and weld test
