Job summary

Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd. seeks experienced TIG welders for permanent roles at the HPC project in Somerset. You will undertake a BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification as part of the trade test and perform 141 (TIG) stainless steel welds across multiple positions.

Roles are permanent, nights shift £35.94/hour with overtime and accommodation allowance. Time-served or apprentice-trained welders with NVQ/C&G certificates and necessary cards are preferred.

Qualifications

• Time-served / apprentice trained is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant industry.
• Competency-based interview with SME and weld test included.

Responsibilities

• Perform 141 (TIG) stainless steel welds including fillet and butt welds.
• Weld in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead.
• Fit and weld sheet metal 0.7 to 4 mm thick, complying with BS EN ISO 9606.

TIG WELDERS £29.34 to 35.94 PER HOUR

With additional scope secured on the HPC project, we are now looking to recruit experienced TIG Welders to join one of the UK s largest infrastructure projects. All successful candidates will undertake a BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification as part of the trade test.

Welding Scope

• 141 (TIG) combination welding - stainless steel
• Fillet & Butt welds
• All positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
• Fitting and welding sheet 0.7 to 4mm thick.

We re specifically looking for welders whose CV clearly demonstrates strong experience across these processes and positional work.

Pay & Benefits

• £35.94 per hour
• OT 1.4x Hours over 38 (Mon Fri) + first 4 hours Saturday
• OT 1.8x Remaining Saturday hours + all Sunday
• Nights Carry a 22.5% shift premium
• 10.5-hour shifts
• 10/4 rotation
• £355.67 per week accommodation allowance
