Arthur Bennett recruitment is seeking a skilled TIG Welder in Leicester to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will perform TIG welding to exacting standards, read engineering drawings, and work safely within an established shop environment.

Experience with MIG welding is a plus, and the role offers a stable position with opportunities to develop skills within a manufacturing setting. Salary ranges from £26,000 to £28,500 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience in manufacturing or engineering settings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Some MIG welding experience is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of welding processes, materials and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding on a range of metal components and materials.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Ensure welds meet required quality standards and specifications
