Job Advert on the outskirts of Stowmarket, Suffolk is seeking a TIG Welder for a hands-on fabrication role in a specialist engineering firm. Immediate start, temp-to-perm, own transport essential. Overtime regularly available at enhanced rates.

The position involves welding, fabricating architectural metalwork, reading drawings and operating workshop machinery. 40-hour week, Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00, potential pay review after 3 months.

Qualifications

• TIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail with a flexible approach to varied work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team; own transport essential.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding, fabricating and assembling architectural metalwork.
• Cutting, grinding, drilling, bending and fettling materials.
• Reading engineering drawings and using workshop machinery.
• Ensuring work meets the required quality and finish standards.
