Job summary

Opus Vitae is recruiting an experienced TIG welder for a Nottingham-based client. Day and night shifts are available with competitive annual pay, regular hours, and a stable, long-term role in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will produce high-quality cosmetic and structural TIG welds on precision-fabricated components, interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications, inspect work, and maintain stringent quality standards with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG-welding experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Comfortable welding stainless steel and mild steel.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic.

Opus Vitae are recruiting for an experienced TIG welder on days to join a fantastic client based in Nottingham. Day and Night shifts available

Day shift- £31,200.00-£35,360.00 per year

40 hours a week

Night Shift- £36,660 - £40,820 per year

10pm - 6am

Produce high-quality cosmetic and structural TIG welds on precision-fabricated components, working accurately to customer specifications and engineering drawings.

What you will do

• TIG weld stainless steel and mild-steel components to a consistently high standard.
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Produce both cosmetic and structural welds.
• Inspect completed work and maintain required quality standards.
• Work accurately with minimal supervision.

Essential experience and skills

• Proven TIG-welding experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Confidence welding stainless steel and mild steel.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, dependable work ethic and ability to work independently
