Hyde Details (Fabrications and Welding) Ltd, a leading metal fabrication provider, invites a skilled TiG Welder to join our modern facility.

You will weld aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium components to exacting aerospace and defence standards, reading drawings and maintaining quality under tight deadlines.\n\nCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the UK, be a team player, and bring keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TiG welding.
• Aerospace or defence sector experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Legally authorised to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
• Weld fillets and butt joints in thicknesses 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker).
• Perform manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.
• Work to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Weld to Aircraft standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

As a TiG Welder, your responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication and welding various Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
• Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker).
• Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.
• Working to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required.
• Following all health and safety guidelines.

About You – Requirements
