Job summary

Rubicon People Partnership in Crawley is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a permanent role to join a growing, employee-owned business. You will perform TIG welding with a focus on hygienic finishes and food industry standards, ensuring components meet strict quality criteria.

The role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule (07:30 to 16:30, early finish on Fridays), with an annual attendance bonus and a company sick pay scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience, ideally within food manufacturing or hygienic fabrication.
• Purge welding experience, particularly on stainless steel.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements for welding and fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot defects through close visual inspection.
• The ability to work accurately to tight production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding components and parts to the correct standard.
• Purge welding to a hygienic finish in line with food industry requirements.
• Measuring and marking components and parts to ensure welding standards are met.
• Inspecting finished work pieces to verify quality before they move on.
• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment and parts.
• Transferring production pieces to the specified work areas.

TIG Welder | Crawley | Up to £19.27 per hour

A well-established specialist manufacturer in Crawley is experiencing a significant uplift in demand and needs an experienced TIG Welder to help them keep pace.
