Job summary

MDE Group is recruiting coded TIG and MMA welders for a major nuclear project at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. You will work on industrial pipework, carbon steel, stainless steel and structural welding, with opportunities for overtime and longer-term employment.

The role offers day and night shifts, a 10 days on/4 days off pattern, and weekly PAYE pay with accommodation allowances where eligible.

Qualifications

• BS EN ISO 9606 Coded Welding Qualification.
• Proven TIG and MMA welding experience.
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, pipework or structural components.
• Qualification or apprenticeship with 3+ years experience or 5+ years in industry.
• Competency-based interview and practical welding assessments required.
• CCNSG Safety Passport required before starting.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Weld on major nuclear infrastructure project at Hinkley Point C.
• Perform TIG and MMA welding on carbon/stainless steel pipework and structural components.
• Complete competency-based interviews and practical welding assessments on site.
• Participate in site onboarding and adhere to safety procedures.
