Job summary

MDE Group is recruiting experienced Coded TIG & MMA Welders for a major nuclear infrastructure project at Hinkley Point C. You will weld carbon and stainless steel pipework and structural components, with a BS EN ISO 9606 coded qualification and a track record in TIG/MMA welding.

This temporary PAYE assignment offers day and night shifts on a 10 days on/4 days off pattern, with overtime, accommodation allowances, and the potential for 18–24 months on site depending on demand.

Qualifications

• BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification is required.
• Proven TIG and MMA welding experience on carbon and stainless steel.
• Experience with pipework, structural welding or related components.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience, or 5 years in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Weld on industrial pipework and structural components to spec.
• Work on carbon steel and stainless steel projects.
• Complete competency-based welding assessments as part of recruitment.
• Adhere to safety and site onboarding requirements.
