Job summary

MDE Group is recruiting coded TIG and MMA welders for a major project at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. The role requires experience in industrial pipework, carbon and stainless steel, with CCNSG safety passport and UK right to work.

Shifts include day and night hours on a 48–50 hour week, with 10 days on, 4 days off. Accommodation allowances may apply; long-term work for 18–24 months subject to demand.

Qualifications

• BS EN ISO 9606 coded welding qualification is essential.
• Experience in TIG and MMA welding on carbon/stainless steel and pipework.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a qualification, or 5 years’ industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld on nuclear infrastructure project at Hinkley Point C.
• Perform TIG and MMA welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, pipework or structural components.
• Attend competency-based interview and practical welding assessments.
