Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Fabricator Welder for a long-term contract in Bedford. This hands-on role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and site fabrication rather than repetitive production welding.

Responsibilities include TIG welding and fabrication repairs across machinery and site infrastructure, with emphasis on high-quality welds and fault-finding in an industrial setting. The position offers ongoing work from Monday to Friday, dayshift.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding and fabrication in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Proactive welder able to repair, modify and maintain machinery and structures.
• Previous Fabricator Welder experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding and fabrication repairs across the site.
• Repair and modify machinery and structural components.
• Produce high-quality TIG welds to standard.
