Job summary

VulnCheck in Cheltenham, UK seeks a Vulnerability & Threat Intelligence Analyst to analyze large volumes of threat intelligence data, identify exploited vulnerabilities, active exploits, threat actors, and IOCs. You will work with the Threat Intelligence team to validate findings and produce actionable intelligence outputs.

The ideal candidate has experience with CVEs, OSINT tools, JSON data, and scripting; familiarity with PoCs and vulnerability data ecosystems; a detail-oriented, analytical

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing threat intelligence data and identifying CVEs, IOCs, and exploitation activity.
• Familiarity with OSINT tools and resources for threat research.
• Ability to evaluate exploit PoCs and assess source credibility and reliability.
• Experience working with structured data formats (e.g., JSON).
• Understanding of CVEs, CPE, and scoring methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze diverse threat intelligence sources to identify exploits, PoCs, and threats.
• Identify threat actors, botnets, and ransomware campaigns.
• Detect malicious hosts, domains, and infrastructure.
• Identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Validate the accuracy and credibility of sources and findings.
• Assess evidence of real-world exploitation.
• Maintain structured, high-quality intelligence outputs.
