Job summary

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Exploit Developer to join the Initial Access Intelligence team. You will reverse engineer software to uncover RCA and author exploits for initial access in a fully remote role, while collaborating with threat researchers to aid global clients.

The position emphasizes developing exploit artifacts, building detections, and contributing to vulnerability mapping and ASM queries, all from a remote UK-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with reverse engineering software to identify root causes of vulnerabilities.
• Proven ability to author exploits for initial access vulnerabilities with little public PoC code.
• Ability to implement network and host-based detections (Suricata/Snort, YARA).

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer software to identify root causes of vulnerabilities.
• Author original exploits for initial access vulnerabilities when PoC is scarce.
• Implement detections (Suricata, Snort, YARA) for exploitation indicators on the wire.
• Write ASM queries (Shodan, Census, FOFA, ZoomEye) to find vulnerable systems.
