Goodwin Development Trust in Hull is seeking a Community Connector to support the Thornton Connected project. This fixed-term role runs until 30 November 2029 and aims to reduce isolation, strengthen local connections and help residents access activities and services that improve wellbeing.

You will build positive relationships with residents, groups and partner organisations, listen to local needs, encourage participation and support health, social inclusion and community resilience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience in community engagement, support work or volunteering.
• Lived experience relevant to local communities.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with residents, community groups and partners.
• Listen to local needs and help people access activities and services.
• Support wellbeing, social inclusion and community participation.
• Work on the Thornton Connected project funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
• Provide advice and signpost to opportunities.
