Join to apply for the Third Party Risk Officer role at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).

The First Line of Defence (1LoD) Group Third Party Assurance Services (3PAS) team collaborates with LSEG divisions (Data & Analytics, Capital Markets, Post Trade) and functions (Technology, Operations, HR, Risk) to deliver Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) services. 3PAS embeds the TPRM policy and operationalizes processes to enable robust third-party risk management aligned with regulatory and internal policies worldwide.

Reporting to the TPRO Director, the successful candidate will join a small team of TPROs supporting various divisions and functions. Responsibilities include partnering with senior management, supporting third-party risk handling, ensuring policy conformance, maintaining documentation, leading communication and training, and supporting strategic TPRM initiatives.

Role Summary: As TPRM is emerging at LSEG, you'll play a vital role in advancing this area, setting success conditions, and supporting business resilience and maturity in TPRM practices. The role offers autonomy, variety, and opportunities for innovative contributions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establish relationships with TPRM leads and senior executives to promote consistent framework adoption and process development.
  • Align frameworks with policies like TPRM, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Enhance the TPRM framework and controls, incorporating new regulatory requirements.
  • Lead resilience projects, including automation initiatives and system improvements.
  • Manage TPRM communications and training across the group.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed TPRM into daily operations.
  • Coordinate assurance activities, ensuring alignment with service catalogues and SLAs.
  • Work with risk domains to integrate specific risk requirements into the framework.
  • Engage with Group Procurement to ensure compliance with key process steps.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure process alignment and system enhancements.
  • Support the TPRO Director and maintain SOPs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Senior managerial experience in developing and implementing TPRM frameworks in dynamic environments.
  • Knowledge of global TPRM and operational resilience regulations (e.g., EBA, SS2/21, DORA).
  • Understanding of various risk types like cyber, data, business continuity, HR.
  • Experience leading large programs and influencing design decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills.
  • Resilience, outcome focus, and pragmatic approach to complex environments.
  • Ability to coach and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to challenge and influence senior partners effectively.
  • Curiosity and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter with energy and a positive attitude.
