Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. in Darlington is seeking a Thermal Insulation Trainer Assessor to deliver hands-on training and assessments in thermal insulation, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to excel in the industry.

You don't need teaching qualifications to apply; if you have strong industry experience (gold card or equivalent), full training will be provided to gain teaching/assessing qualifications on the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as an engineer in thermal insulation and fabrication.
• Thermal insulation qualification and/or a valid Skill Card.
• Teaching and/or assessing qualification at Level 3 or above (or willing to be put through).
• Enhanced DBS check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment in thermal insulation.
• Support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Work within an established team to ensure training quality.
