Job summary

The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Technical Instructor to rotate through general surgery, vascular surgery, frail elderly, acute and respiratory medicine, emergency/ A&E, oncology/renal, orthopaedics, trauma/ARTU, cardiothoracics and neuro, within the Medicine Therapy Team.

You will complete competencies in occupational therapy and physiotherapy, and participate in a seven-day shift system that includes weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment.
• Understanding of therapy interventions.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through general surgery, vascular surgery, frail elderly, acute and respiratory medicine, emergency/A&E, oncology/renal, orthopaedics, trauma/ARTU, cardiothoracics and neuro.
• Complete competencies in occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
• Work weekends and bank holidays within a seven-day shift system.
