Job description

Job Opportunity: Therapy Technical Instructor

We are seeking individuals to fill Therapy Technical Instructor positions within the Medical & Surgical and Network Services Therapy teams.

About the Posts:

  • Opportunity to work in an exciting University Hospital environment.
  • Part of two clinically based teams within the Therapies Directorate.
  • Work across acute wards at UHNM sites.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Understanding of Therapy interventions.
  • Competencies in both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.

Post Details:

  • The Medical post involves working within medical and surgical teams, providing respiratory, post-surgical, medical, frail, and emergency front-of-house care for patients across the West Midlands.
  • The Network Services post involves rotation across Trauma, Elective, Orthopaedics, Fractured Neck of Femur wards, the Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit, Neurology, Paediatrics, and Cardiothoracic wards.

Supervision and Development:

Supervision will be provided by Band 5/6/7 Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists. Personal development is supported through appraisals and both internal and external training opportunities.
