Engineering Technical Instructor - B2 Manchester

The Engineering Technical Instructor B2 is primarily responsible for delivering CAA Part 147 Type Rating Engineering Training to Jet2.com Colleagues across the company’s fleet of aircraft. This position ensures quality and consistency across the scope of training provided and plays a vital role in the continuous improvement of working practices within Jet2.com Engineering Teams.

What will you do in the role?

1. Assist and support the Engineering Training Manager in the development of Jet2.com’s Engineering Training Department and eliminate level 1 findings from the department.
2. Delivery of a portfolio of Technical Courses for which they are approved.
3. The preparation, review, modification and amendment of Engineering Training Manuals and Training materials.

The successful candidate:

1. Licensed Engineer to B2 level.
2. Knowledge of CAA structure, framework, and requirements.
3. Detailed knowledge of Part M and Part 145 (CAME) within Jet2.com.
4. Previous training experience desirable but not essential.
5. Solid skills/experience in one or several of the priority areas for learning activities: CAA Part 147 Type Training, Part 145 Recurrent Training (Continuation, Induction, EWIS, and General Familiarisation Courses, for example).
6. Proven record of excellent people skills, including good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Understanding and experience in facilitation of training in CAA Part 147/Part 145/Part M and Part 21 Organisations.
