Job summary

Eresby Special School in Spilsby is seeking a part-time Swimming Therapist/Support to join our therapies team. You will deliver swimming sessions and water-based activities under the Therapies Lead, supporting pupils' physical development, emotional regulation and wellbeing.

Working 30 hours per week during term time, you will contribute to personalised physiotherapy programmes, maintain accurate records and collaborate with physiotherapists, teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• Paediatric First Aid or willingness to obtain.
• Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs and/or disabilities.
• Experience of working collaboratively to support pupils experiencing dysregulation.
• Experience of maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Experience of adapting activities to meet a range of individual needs.
• Experience of delivering physiotherapy under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
• Experience of delivering swimming sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of personalised physiotherapy programmes.
• Deliver swimming instruction and therapeutic water-based activities.
• Contribute to pupils' progress through assessment and record keeping.
