An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Support Worker to join our Inpatient Therapy Service based at the William Harvey Hospital.
The Therapy Team specialises in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients to assist with recovery and discharge planning. This is a static post, however, there will be the opportunity to work with our therapy colleagues within the wider therapy team. The post-holder would support the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in delivering a high quality of therapy to patients.
As a Band 3 Therapy Support Worker you will be part of a Therapy team comprising Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners and Therapy Support Workers. The successful applicant will be a valued member of the team, working alongside the MDT, under direction of the therapists as they strive to provide high quality care through effective team work.
There is regular in-service training provided by both therapies and other MDT members.
As a therapy team we are constantly involved in service development and the post holder will be involved alongside the therapy team in new projects, service developments and initiatives to ensure best practice at all times.
